You have to wait until KDE 4.1.1 is released, since opensuse won't publish those packages until KDE announced the new release. In that case the openSUSE KDE team shouldn't have published those packages built for KDE 4.1.1 until September 3rd (KDE 4.1.1 release date). Meanwhile users can't install daily used packages such as digikam and kaffeine... -- Regards, Carlos Goncalves --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org

If you had them before, there is not need to update anyway. digikam ist still beta, so you should not depend on it anyway and kaffeine is on the opensuse DVD. There might not be the need to update, but I'm plenty sure users will complain about the dependency conflicts they are getting, as we can read in this thread.

Kaffeine for KDE 4.1.x isn't and that's what we are discussing, not KDE 4.0.x. -- Regards, Carlos Goncalves --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org

So? the one for KDE4 is beta, so you should not rely on it. There was no recent stable release, so there is no need to get anything new from the repo. Theoriginal complain was about people not being able to install/update their daily used apps. this is bogus. If you use it daily, you do already have it installed (or on a DVD) and hence you do not lose anything, if you cannot update.
