[opensuse-kde] KMail filters delete mail when processing local maildir
I've updated my system yesterday evening, which got me the new KMail. Today KMail deleted an entire folder worth of mail (and some of another) because the filter that sorts incoming mail there was set to also process the local maildir. Upon selecting that folder KMail apparently decided it should move the mails into the same folder they already were in, and in the process actually deleted them. I don't understand how it's even possible to program a mailmove that it breaks in this way, but on the off-chance that anybody knows knows how to reclaim the mails, please let me know. I have a backup from a month ago, so I'll get the old mails back anyway, but it actually started with the newest mails. My backup is still on an external disk I currently can't access, however I noticed that one large folder containing the last decade of a mailing list was a few hundred mails larger than I remembered. It turns out that somehow KMail had moved the mails I thought were deleted in to this folder (no, they don't match even remotely the filter that moves the list mails there). I think I have found all the mails there that I thought were gone although I can't really be sure.
