Point him to KR48 where we hopefully have a recent git snapshot. Otherwise ask which particular major bugs the latest version fixes that are present in 12.1. Will

There have been many bugfixes and overall improvements Plasma NM in last few months. These changes should significantly improve users experiences.
Can you tell me when they will be available in OpenSUSE 12.1?
thanks in advance for the answer

Be aware that there is one nasty bug in the latest PNM 0.9 when compiled with Qt 4.8. This causes that the plasma-desktop crashes when you try to manually activate a network connection. I have already informed Lamarque about this quite some time ago (https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=293731), but he cannot reproduce/fix it, as he uses Qt 4.7.4. In my home repo I have the latest snapshot with a revert of this specific patch, so let me know if I should push anything to KR48 or anywhere else. The current PNM version in KDF (0.9.1git20111209) is also available in KDE:UpdatedApps. So the guy can update the plasmoid without needing to upgrade all of KDE. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org

Bugs 742765, 741841 (maybe), several others less important. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org
