[opensuse-kde] kde 4.3, libqt4.5 - and YaST on openSUSE 11.1
I cannot start YaST anymore since I updated to KDE 4.3 with the new libqt 4.5. The YaST log file ends at: 2009-07-16 15:46:58 <1> reger(28478) [ui] YUI.cc(YUI):62 Creating UI with threads Do you have any ideas what's wrong here and how to fix it? Or should I ask the YaST devs? Not really, or? I've installed qt 4.5 and I have no problems with yast on x64 with KDE 4.2.2.

There is a problem starting YaST with the new qt/kde if you don't have a login shell as root. In other words, if you do "su" instead of "su -" for example. The problem seems to be that it wants to contact the user dbus instance, but doesn't have permissions for it.
