As well as the "openSUSE Firefox extensions" extension. Though I'm not sure what that one did. Regards, Tejas -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org

The current oxygen theme is not marked as compatible with 3.6 yet. I've notified the maintainer to figure that out.

Currently mainly the customized plugin finder service. If you update to MozillaFirefox-branding-openSUSE from the mozilla repository this is already fixed. Wolfgang -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org

The upstream developer has told me that he has no plans to release a new version at this point. Wolfgang: so for the time being I was thinking of adding a "Requires FF 3.5.x" to the spec. Any other ideas? -- Javier Llorente

Hmm, could somebody just change install.rdf and see if everything works with 3.6? Then we can patch the maxversion probably. Wolfgang -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org

Sorry this morning I've reply to only to Javier. Hi Javier, I think you shouldn't add the requirement as it would be difficult to user to keep their firefox up to date (Is 3.6 going to suse-update ?) Hi, I did not test the packages, but applied the diff and I can confirm it works fine with Nvidia stable on KDE 4.3.4 and 4.4rc2 on both 11.1 and 11.2 installs, along with free radeon drivers. More annoying is the opensuse extensions are not enabled, but that's not the domain of this list. It's not but just install MozillaFirefox-branding-openSUSE from the same repo you got FF 3.6 from. It's already fixed but zypp may not update to it for different reasons. (vendor change or release number issues). Wolfgang -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org

What were the problems you experienced? I experienced some serious issues using Firefox 3.6.0 and the beta Nvidia drivers (195.30) and KDE 4.4RC1. Graphical corruption of plasma items and windows decorations along with kwin crashes. I've since rolled back to the stable Nvidia drivers in the Nvidia openSUSE repo but I've not really used Firefox much since then so I can't really say for sure if the issues I experienced remain. -- “What can be asserted without proof can be dismissed without proof.” - Christopher Hitchens -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org

Firefox disable it, use return to it's "ugly" default theme.

I personnaly use the nvidia drivers coming from repo which actually are 190.53_2.6.31.5_0.1-8.1 I'm working with KDE 4.3.4 In fact it's quite simple to make it working go to your ~/.mozilla/firefox/profile/whatever/extensions/ find the oxygen-theme and edit the install.rdf file put max version to 3.7 for example. with this I've re-enable some of my precious themes & extensions. -- Bruno Friedmann -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org

Firefox "ugly" default theme? It's probably not perfect but given that your system is set up correctly the default theme looks exactly like the oxygen theme in the toplevel window at least. That's caused by the fact that Firefox loads the desktop icons from the environment. That's also the reason why I disagree that the oxygen theme should be set by default as this breaks immediately if some KDE user uses another theme. That's why I put it between double-quotes. Just a question of taste :-) Thanks about the info about the style coming from the desktop. I've never take further look about it. It render quite the same. I have to certainly adjust the space used around icon to keep them small. -- Bruno Friedmann -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org
