[opensuse-kde] No Shutdown/reboot Option in Plasma 5.10.4 on latest Tumbleweed
Just noticed since yesterday that Plasma does not have a shutdown or reboot option in the Application menu anymore . I only see Lock Logoff Switch User Standby Suspend/Hibernate ( in German Ruhezustand) not sure which is meant To get a Shutdown or Reboot Option without using the terminal I need to log off from the session to go to the Login Manager Screen Question: Was this an intentional design decision ? Or is it a Bug? Thx Stefan -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org

maybe local problem. I have three local Tw boxes and have both "Shutdown" and "Reboot" options available on the menu. -- (paka)Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA @ptilopteri http://en.opensuse.org openSUSE Community Member facebook/ptilopteri Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://linuxcounter.net Photos: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/piwigo paka @ IRCnet freenode -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org
Please take a look at System Settings -> Startup and Shutdown -> Desktop Session and make sure that "Offer shutdown options" is checked. On 08/10/2017 12:11 PM, Stefan Kunze wrote:

Tom, thank you very much - that was exactly the issue. Not sure how that got disabled . Never knew about this option so far. Thx Stefan -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org
