[opensuse-kde] TW: konsole tab activity detection stops working correctly
Another undesireable behaviour appeared with todays' update, I'm afraid. In konsole, when a background (i.e. currently non-selected) tab produces output, the tab title gets highlighted with a slightly different font color. That still works, however when I then switch back to this tab the highlight does not get removed anymore. That renders the feature essentially useless as eventually all tabs will be highlighted… I can't find any settings to influence this, so I can only assume that's a bug? Sounds like https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=402541 that will be fixed in 18.12.1 (to be released next Thursday). Btw, it's rather not caused by *todays*' updates, 18.12.0 is in Tumbleweed since 2 weeks already... ;-) https://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-factory/2018-12/msg00148.html Kind Regards, Wolfgang -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org

Great, thanks for the info. I'll manage to live with it until then. :-)

Yeah, but I didn't update for two-and-a-half weeks for some reason… Regards, Achim. -- +<[Q+ Matrix-12 WAVE#46+305 Neuron microQkb Andromeda XTk Blofeld]>+ Waldorf MIDI Implementation & additional documentation: http://Synth.Stromeko.net/Downloads.html#WaldorfDocs -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org

We could of course add the fix to the openSUSE package, but it's probably not really worth it at this point... Kind Regards, Wolfgang -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org

Well, I submitted the fix anyway: https://build.opensuse.org/request/show/663069 But I cannot guarantee that it will hit Tumbleweed before 18.12.1... (that depends on how long the review and openQA process will take) Kind Regards, Wolfgang -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org
