Is your local domain <something>.local? If so it could be due to multicast DNS
Anyone know how to turn this off?
You don't. Instead, you don't use .local as domain name. .site works well. So what.
So it's not worth my while changing the domains of our live european network for one test client. **************************************************** Visit our website at <http://www.domino-printing.com/> **************************************************** This Email and any files transmitted with it are confidential and intended solely for the use of the individual or entity to whom they are addressed. I doubt you will be able to postpone this change forever. If the domain .local. is now reserved for XYZ, then using it differently seems to me to be a bit like arguing against 127.0.0.1 being localhost. Your call. Volker -- Volker Kuhlmann is possibly list0570 with the domain in header http://volker.dnsalias.net/ Please do not CC list postings to me.
