[opensuse-kde] Device notifier mounts USB disk read only
Hi - I apparently recently upgraded some things on my system - openSuSE11.2 x86_64, KDE Platform Version 4.4.5 (KDE 4.4.5) "release 270" and now the Device Notifier is only mounting my USB disk drive as read-only. This has not happened until recently, anyone got any ideas as to why and how to fix? Perhaps the disk has a faulty filesystem. In those cases (specially ntfs) it is mounted read only. - -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R. Thanks Carlos, That was my initial thought also, although this disk is fat32... I ran diskchk on it with no joy.. Anywise I think this was a red herring and my suspicion has now turned to wine... (I use wine to execute PortableApps off the usb drive) I think the latest release of wine badly broke USB support, so am in the process of regressing wine to a previous version...
