[opensuse-kde] Is it possible to update Plasma NetworkManager to 0.9.0.4?
I have an issue with the current version of Plasma NetworkManager, 0.9.0.2, in openSUSE 12.1. I learned that 0.9.0.4 is available. Is it possible to update the current version to that version in the appropriate repository. -- fr.gr. KR49 is at 0.9.0.4, so what repo are you refering to? The official updates repo? There is a request for updating it for weeks in bugzilla, so you can judge by yourself how likely it is that it will be released any time soon – if at all. I tried KR49 in openSUSE 12.2RC2, but it does not contain 0.9.0.4, it is still at 0.9.0.2. The repositories I added to 12.2RC2 are: http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/KDE:/Release:/49/openSUSE_12.2/ and http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/KDE:/Extra/KDE_Release_49_openSUSE... Is 0.9.0.4 only available in KR49 in openSUSE 12.1? -- fr.gr. yes - there is a missing package dependency for nothing provides openconnect- devel >= 3.99 which I don't know how to solve and didn't get an answer to previously on this list. We could of course add a recent enough openconnect but is it really required?! (12.1 doesn't have that either)... I changed the 3 KDE repositories in 12.1 to 4.9 and I got the 0.9.0.4 from Playground. In 12.2RC2 I did not add Playground KDE49 only the base repository and Extra, and indeed, trying to upgrade to 4.9 got me a number of unresolved dependencies, which I could not resolve, so I left 12.2RC2 at KDE48. Will try to add Playground and see what happens. At least the issue I had in 12.1 with plasmoid-networkmanagement 0.9.0.2 is gone and I did not have an issue with the new KDE, but have not done much with it yet. -- fr.gr. KDF has a more recent than 12.2 (3.15) openconnect package for >= 12.1. In KR49 it is available as well but only build for 12.1, not 12.2. Thus I just enabled the build and that should fix the issue for 12.2. Factory has it on its own. Of course this will take some days until it is available in the download repos, since something triggered the whole of KR49 to rebuild. Sven -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org

Since it was not enabled yet, I added rebuild="direct" to the KR49 repo's meta info. I hope that helps to limit future rebuilding. Sven -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org

ok, that was too obvious - I didn't even check that :( thank you for enabling it though Nico -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org
