[opensuse-kde] Are systemsettings in 11.2 release going to lack administrator mode?
I see from https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=151669 that it will only be fixed in kde44, that means that if 11.2 releases with kde43 there will be no administrator mode in systemsettings. There was on the other hand a comment at the bottom that the latest ubuntu worked, is there hope yet? The patch we used with 11.1 no longer applies. The Ubuntu version seems to use PolicyKit, which I'm not sure if we are going to use. I suggest an enhancement filled at bugzilla.novell.com so that this doesn't get forgotten, if you think this is important. -- Lubos Lunak KDE developer -------------------------------------------------------------- SUSE LINUX, s.r.o. e-mail: l.lunak@suse.cz , l.lunak@kde.org Lihovarska 1060/12 tel: +420 284 084 672 190 00 Prague 9 fax: +420 284 028 951 Czech Republic http://www.suse.cz -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org

https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=526199 Yes I think this is a major usability problem for kde4. Regards Dave P -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org
