You can at least fix yourself this last one. it is installed in your home so simply put the right part of Name= between two quotes Or remove the \ or double it :-) -- Bruno Friedmann Ioda-Net Sàrl www.ioda-net.ch Bareos Partner, openSUSE Member, fsfe fellowship GPG KEY : D5C9B751C4653227 irc: tigerfoot -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org

Looking at the kded5 source code, it uses categorized Qt logging. Those can be disabled per logging component. https://www.google.com/search?q=disable+qt+categorized+logging -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org

Well, in syslog it is displayed at level WARNING, which is a disaster. An horrible default, all these should be debug level messages. So, this can be changed at the source level. Who can do that? Who to send the bugzilla? -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R. (from 42.2 x86_64 "Malachite" at Telcontar)

Hi, I don't know if is available (and helpfull in your case) in plasma/kde 5, but for plasma 4 there is kdebudialog where you can disable debug output for apps/services. Try.. I don't have any of those tools. I had to filter it out in syslog, the amount of log spam was tremendous. What sense does it make to spew that lot of debug entries to the system log at WARNING level? - -- Cheers, Carlos E. R.
