I don't think I'm doing anything stupid, but having downloaded and installed the SuSE RPMs, Realaudio doesn't work anymore. Any help appreciated TIA Gerry Gavigan

Gerry, How do you mean it doesn't work anymore? It doesn't work if you try to open it from your menu? It doesn't work from the browser? Don't leave us hanging! :o) Did you go into Konq's settings and tell it to scan for plugins? If you go to the plugins found, do you see realplayer there? Have you updated Mozilla lately from the original 1.2 install? Have you installed a new version of RealPlayer lately? The new KDE files should not have upset your RealPlayer plugins. The humblest of apologies to you all. Part of the BBC website uses Realaudio and part of it doesn't - (only excuse - no clues) I was trying to listen to the live cricket commentary - and it just sat there not working. It was only after posting it occurred to me to check the rest of the BBC website. (unlike on Debian Sid - unless my fellow poster was also trying to listen to the cricket) every thing is and was working perfectly on SuSE 8.2 Gerry
