[opensuse-kde] Freeze caused by hibernation under KDE
Hi, I have a hiberanate problem with my laprop and it seems to be related to kde. On this laptop hibernation has always worked. I have recently installed leap 42.2 and this is what happens. If I have the login screen and from a terminal I run systemctrl hibernate The latop hibenates and power off. On power on the disk image get loaded and operation resume. If I login on lxde and again from a terminal I run systemctrl hibernate then again the latop hibenates and power off. On power on the disk image get loaded and operation resume. But if I login on kde and from a terminal I run systemctrl hibernate then the latop hibenates and power off. On power on the disk image get loaded, the locked X screen appears, it is possible to move the cursor, but after a couple of seconds the system freeze. Whatever is causing the freeze seems to be related with plasma5. However, the freeze happens if I hibernate the laptop with systemctrl hibernate (or using the menu: Power/Session -> Hibernate). If I simply use: echo disk >/sys/power/state Then on resume the system does not freeze even under kde. I have now two questions. 1) This hibernation problem is only mine, or it affects other people? 2) If it is only mine, do you have any advice on how to track down what part of the resume process is causing the freeze?
