amaroK deosn't find music brainz
I have amaroK 1.3.7 with KDE 3.5.0 now. A few updates ago (2 or 3 months) amarok stopped contacting music brainz to get meta-info for my mp3 files. It worked before. Whe I klick the music-brainz button I just get the message 'Das Stück wurde in der MusicBrainz-Datenbank nicht gefunden.' ('The title couldn't be found in the MusicBrainz database!'). That message appears very quickly, it looks like the database is either not configured or amaroK just doesn't try to connect it. libmusicbrainz-2.1.1-6 is installed. Any clues? Martin

Solved. I did a last google and found:
Du musst noch zusätzlich libtunepimp-mad installieren, um die libtunepimp mit mp3-Fähigkeiten auszustatten. ('Install libtunepimp-mad to add mp3-features to libtumepimp')
OK now! libtunepimp-mad did the trick. It is here: http://rpm.pbone.net/index.php3/stat/4/idpl/2234150/com/libtunepimp-mad-0.3.... Martin

Mind telling me (and the list) why your messages request return receipt conformations? You collecting addresses for later spam lists or just don't know what you're doing??? Sorry, i didn't turn off the request for a return reciept for my posting to the list. I've overseen that. Are you probably getting a little too angry about it?
Please change this immediately!
Changed. Sometimes I definitely need a return reciept. Would be nice to have it activated by default for some adresses or deactivated by default for others, like postings to the list. I'm afraid kmail/kab don't support this? Martin

Kmail can do it. What you need to do is create an Identity that does not have the receipt feature on. Then, when you write an email to a mailing-list, select that Identity. Even easier, create the Identity, create a filter to store all email from the list into its own folder. The right-click on the folder and select Properties then set the Identity as the default.
