[opensuse-kde] Update KDE Repository changes
As promised I would provide Status updates after each important step in the KDE Repository changes. I would like to inform you all that at this moment all applications based on KDE/Qt, have been moved from KDE:Distro:Factory to KDE:Extra. Also Factory has been changed with regards to the devel-project for these applications. I have also updated the wiki with regards to these changes and you can find the latest version on: http://en.opensuse.org/SDB:KDE_repositories Regards Raymond -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org

So, we have for example Amarok in both R11 and Extra - is that how it will remain -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org

Hi Carl, As indicated there would be several phases in this process. The first and most important one was to move the whole development for those applications from KDE:Distro:Factory to KDE:Extra and to adjust the wiki-pages according to the new required structure. KDE:Release:411 (or KR411) will be cleaned up regarding the same applications and this is targeted to be done either today or tomorrow. The same is applicable for KDE:Unstable:SC. The KDE:Release:410 and older versions will not be touched and remain as historical. Versions there of those applications are too low anyway. KDE:UpdatedApps will also remain until openSUSE 12.2 will go out of support. Ray, Thanks for clearing that up. Sorry I didn't see that in the first place. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org

Thanks for letting me know. Both are now copied to KDE:Extra and a request to change the development project in Factory is currently outstanding for both of them. Did you check KDE:Extra or are you just watching KDF ? I can not delete the package in KDF as long as openSUSE:Factory didn't accepted the change devel project. But if you would have checked then you would have seen that the package is in KDE:Extra Raymond -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org
