Hi, I'm having a couple of problems with the settings in the "Advanced Options" dialog of the KDE Control Center's Screen Saver module: 1) The "Lock Screen" and "Prevent Locking" corner options have no effect. 2) The priority pop-up reverts to "Low" whenever changed to either "Medium" or "High" and the dialog is confirmed and reopened. Applying the Screen Saver module changes in between confirming the priority change and viewing the Advanced Options dialog again does not cause the priority change to persist. Has anybody seen these symptoms? Does anyone have a fix or work-around? Searching the KDE Bug Database (<http://bugs.kde.org/>) did not seem to show anything pertinent. Randall Schulz

Apparently, I was simply impatient. When putting the cursor in the "Lock Screen" corner one must (or, at least, I must) wait about 13 seconds (!) for the screen saver to kick in.

This problem persists, even after an intervening reboot.
