Konqueror file manager
I hope this is the right group for posting this question. After installing SuSE 8.0 on several computers, I have noticed a difference in appearance of Konqueror file manager background. On a few computers I see the right hand pane with a background of alternating white and light blue lines like the line printer paper. The rest of the computers show a background of very close stripes. I really like the background that looks like computer paper but I don't know how to get it. I looked at the View, Background Image but don't see any option that looks like the computer paper. Am I looking in the wrong place? Damon Register

Damon, Try looking under Preferences>Look&Feel>Colors for your settings on your system wide background colors. I am pretty sure that is what you are looking for as I once had that setup in my KMail, but lost it in one of my updates. It is a nice effect. The "computer paper background" you're talking about is actually not an image. If you want it back, go to View|Background Image and make sure nothing is selected.
