RE: [suse-kde] Mounting Reiserfs partition
What does and 'ls -ld /data' show? Does the user have permissions to write at the /data level? -----Original Message----- From: Vladimir Niksic [mailto:vniksic@inet.hr] Sent: Friday, June 10, 2005 12:16 PM To: suse-kde@suse.com Subject: [suse-kde] Mounting Reiserfs partition I just bought a new hard disk, made partitions with fdisk, and formatted it using mkreiserfs. I edited /etc/fstab for that partition: /dev/hdb1 /data reiserfs defaults, user 0 0 I can mount it just fine, but I can't write a single byte to the partition as a user. I'm obviously missing something here, but I don't know what. What else do I have to add to this line so I can write to the partition as user. Thanks in advance. -- To unsubscribe, email: suse-kde-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands, email: suse-kde-help@suse.com Please do not cross-post to suse-linux-e
