[opensuse-kde] KDE4-k3b
opensuse 11.1 (2.6.27.19-3.2-default ), KDE4.2.1 release 103, KDE-K3b (Version 1.60.0) I get the following error on startup. I've looked on WEBPIN and restricted codecs for the below mentioned Mad librarys. Cannot find them. I did the one click install of restricted codecs and all my files are from packman. The K3b/KDE3 does not give me this error. Mp3 Audio Decoder plugin not found. K3b could not load or find the Mp3 decoder plugin. This means that you will not be able to create Audio CDs from Mp3 files. Many Linux distributions do not include Mp3 support for legal reasons. Solution: To enable Mp3 support, please install the MAD Mp3 decoding library as well as the K3b MAD Mp3 decoder plugin (the latter may already be installed but not functional due to the missing libmad). Some distributions allow installation of Mp3 support via an online update tool (e.g. SuSE's YOU). libmad0 is installed 0.15.1b-1.pm.5-x86_64 k3b codecs are also installed just installed latest version of kde4-k3b from packman, still get error. Do in need to uninstall the KDE3 version first? Any help would be appreciated. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org

KDE4 K3b is unreleased, early development stuff, you shouldn't expect it to work at this point. There's a reason kde3 k3b is installed by default. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org
