How to get icewm to show as a choice in KDM
Tried installing thru Synaptic, didn't show up as a choice, Uninstalled, installed again, still no joy. In searching I find others having the same problem with Suse and Icewm. So, I suppose I need instruction on how to manually edit the file that the window manager reads for choices. Has anyone else faced this problem, and if so, how was it resolved. Thank you Jim Hall

Thank you Jim Hall Jim I have had the same problem. File /opt/kde3/share/apps/kdm/sessions/icewm.desktop is missing from package kdebase3-kdm-3.4.0-28.i586.rpm. I copied the file from SuSE 9.2 which cured the problem.
