Hi, I am missing the tab in the kprinter dialog, where one can adjust all the printer settings like resolution, pagesize, etc. which are taken directly from the corresponding ppd-file of the printer. At least this worked well in 7.3, and I wonder why it doesn't work now. I checked the kde printing homepage http://printing.kde.org/documentation/handbook/online/cups-and-ppd.html#ppd-... for advices and these guys suggest to use a cupsomatic style ppd file, but this file does not work with my printer. only the PPD-O-MATIC files do. But these files are known to suppress the missing tab in the kprinter dialog. What can I do? Thanks, Michael
