The next Kmail have a broken Window on start the settings are always lost for window ? It is not longer possible to delete a Folder on a IMAP server and much more ? Now I have make a Upgrade to 5.9 KDE but nothing have changed :-(. -- mit freundlichen Grüssen / best regards Günther J. I am using kontact on Tumbleweed all the time. I did have a number of problems, but currently the remaining problems are very small and I can live with it.

I did set the kontact windows to take always the right side of my screen, but that does not work. See bug https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=374537
It is not longer possible to delete a Folder on a IMAP server and much more ?
Works for me. I have 6 IMAP accounts in kmail 5.4.1; GMail server, dovecot servers, unknown type server of my provider.
Now I have make a Upgrade to 5.9 KDE but nothing have changed :-(.

Just for your information. KMail is not part of the KDE Plasma Workspace (5.9.x) release. KMail is part of KDE Applications (16.12.x, for december, 2016). So KMail fixes will come with new point releases of that. Of course the KDE team might be backporting patches to every rebuild too. Depending on what repo you're getting your packages from. Personally I'm using KMail 16.08.x on Leap, and while it has some rough edges, it gets the job done well enough for me. There are alternatives of course, Trojita (Qt-based, IMAP-only), Thunderbird, Claws Mail, or even Evolution ;-) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org
