[opensuse-kde] kmail - where to open the new message window
Ok, I am giving kmail another crack, as it seems to be working much better in 4.9 and opensuse 12.2 The first thing I would like to figure out is, how do I make a new message window open up in the middle of my screen? When I click on new message, it opens in the upper left hand corner, which is fine, but I would prefer it in the middle. I could not find the particular configuration option to adjust the default value for where the new message window opens up. Thanks! -- G.O. Move the composer window to the position you want, then right click on the window title bar->"More Actions"->"Special Window settings" "Size & Position" tab-> Check "Position", choose Apply Initially in the dropdown menu and "ok". Christophe

Hi, I'm late to respond ... my apologies ... kwin allows all sorts of nifty tailoring of windows. It's all documented here: http://userbase.kde.org/KWin_Rules Cheers, -- Pablo Sanchez - Blueoak Database Engineering, Inc Ph: 819.459.1926 Blog: http://pablo.blog.blueoakdb.com Fax: 760.860.5225 (US) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org
