[opensuse-kde] KMail does not execute filter rules
Hi there, I use KMail kmail-4.4.11.1-3.3.x86_64 from KDE 4.6.3 on openSUSE 11.4. I have already reported this behavoiur on Bugzilla. I have setup filter rules to put emails from mailing lists into seperate folders. But when fetching new mails, these filters to not get executed. I need to manually call the filters with ctrl-j on each new message. Is there a workaround for this? Do other have the same issue? Regards Malte Kmail 1.13.7 (kmail-4.4.11.1-3.3.i586) works for me. Make sure, checkbox 'Apply this filter for incoming mail' is checked in tab 'Advaced' for filter settings.

Yes, this is checked but does not help. Maybe I should try to just delete the filter and create it again.... Malte -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org

Malte How did You create this filter? I do it in that way: when message from mailing list arrives, I click RMB on it and I choose "Create filter" → "Filter by mailing list opensuse-kde". Then just accept it in a new window.
Give it a try a re-create filter. -- Pozdrawiam / Best regards, Mariusz Fik openSUSE Community Member
Check the advanced tab on filter and see if box is checked to execute on manual filtering, plus the default for filter is 'all', I change to any, depends on what you want. HTH, mike
