[opensuse-kde] no filtering for incomming mails
hi there, since some time KMail 4.7.4 dont wont filter incomming mails. I can apply the filters on the folder incomming, then filtering works. I have set the option filtering for all incomming mails, but this works not. Where should I search for a solution. I tried to kill the configuration files for KMail, but this have no result on this problem. Any tips? Thank you, Kai -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org

Kai Hi, same here, filter stop working since few days :( Sometimes they work when kmai starts but after that, they don't work anymore.
Filter log does not offer usefull info, simple there is no matching... Adding more rules does not help too. Calling filters manually (CTRL+J) sometimes works, sometimes doesn not.. Kmail2 only filters the messages after they been deposited in their deliver folder. Kmail1 could filter the messages from the pop email servers. I never tried from IMAPS Regards Lívio Cipriano -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org

Regards Lívio Cipriano No, it's no a question of time. I see in the log filter that they run but they don't work..
I've selected your last two post, the right click then apply filter. Result: replay to my post filtered, replay to kai's post.. nothing I keep trying but take a look: [20:08:45] Esecuzione regole di filtro: (verifica almeno uno dei criteri seguenti) "List-Post" <contains> "<mailto:opensuse-kde@opensuse.org>" "X-Mailing-List" <contains> "opensuse-kde" [20:08:45] 0 = "List-Post" <contains> "<mailto:opensuse- kde@opensuse.org>" () [20:08:45] 0 = "X-Mailing-List" <contains> "opensuse-kde" () It 'is in italian but i'm sure it is understandable.. Two rules, at least one of them should match for filtering but as you can see "0 = ..." Bye. For me filtering works sure on every mail. Only not for incomming mails, but after I mar all and apply the filters, they work. Kai Am Dienstag, 10. Januar 2012, 20:18:25 schrieb Daniele:

What KDE version? CTRL+A and CTRL + J did work for me with 4.7.4 but stopped with 4.8. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=282063 Yet maybe that's not the right bug since it seems a regression. And did it stop after a recent update from that repo? Can you tell how many days ago? Or do you remember changing some config, e.g. removing some filter? Sven -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org

Then changed/removed/readded filters but without success.. You could try to add some filter that uses the "pipe through prog" feature, e.g. bogofilter via the anti-spam wizard. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=291582 Sven -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org
And what about outgoing emails? Did anyone manage to filter out going mails? Regards Lívio Cipriano -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org
