[opensuse-kde] Birthday's calendar in Kmail Calendar Doesn't work
Hi, on Opensuse 11.4 when I add birthday information to my contacts in Kontacts via the kmail interface, they don't show up in the calendar, even though it is checked (activated). I suspect it is a bug, but wanted to pose the question here first as that is recommended before filing a bug report. I"ve already posted the question on opensuse forums without response. Please define "the calendar" - Kontact/KOrganizer or the panel clock's popup calendar. Also "it is checked" == the birthdays calendar in Kontact/KOrganizer is checked? The calendar in Kmail, not the panel clock. And when you are looking at the calendar in Kmail, there is a list of calendars where you can add new ones, and activate or deactive calendars, and the birthday one has a checkmark in it. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org

After some time here and on the forums, I have opened a bug report in regards to this issue:
A fellow on the bug reporting site found the solution. Open up kde's control center, open Personal Information, select Contact from the drop down, and add an 'akonadi resource'. Tell it to sync, apply and all should work just fine now in opensuse 11.4 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org
