How can a specific view profile be automatically loaded when Konqueror is launched
Hello Friends, I need your help in a little matter. I have saved my preferred view profile in Konqueror under the name A_profile. Each time I launch Konqueror, I want it to load this profile. I have searched in "Settings ---> Configure Konqueror", but did not find a way to do this. Thank you. - Ram

Open up a terminal console, and type "konqueror --help", followed by <Enter>. I think you'll manage from here... ;) Cheers, Leen

You may search forever for the answer. I searched for months and here's how I did it after some kind Gentleman on this list told me howto. Go to Kmenu>Settings>Menu Editor>System>More Programs>File Manager-Superuser. then on right in Command: type "konqueror --profile filemanagement" without quotes of course. The profile you type after the switch ' --profile' should be the profile you want to be the default. I dont know why this isnt written in some place easily found but at least you now know.
