[opensuse-kde] 11.1 kde 4.2 no key repeat ?
Hello, in my 11.1 installation I have no key repeat in any program? Is this a kde4 Problem or a Xorg Problem ? Have any found a workaround ? -- mit freundlichen Grüßen / best Regards, Günther J. Günther J. Niederwimmer Also in my installation, openSUSE 11.1 and KDE 4.2.1. A friend has Fedora 10 and KDE 4.2.1 and there are those options.
One workaround may be setting X using yast2->system->/etc/sysconfig editor-
hardware->keyboard.

If you mean that holding the f-key down results in fffffffffffffffffff it does work here on 11.1 and KDE 4.2.1. In systemsettings > keyboard you can deactivate the key repetition, maybe that's the case on your computer. Sven Hi,
On my openSUSE 11.1 and KDE 4.2.1 does not exists this option. A friend has installed Fedora 10 and KDE 4.2.1 and this option is present. Thadeu -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org

I use openSUSE 11.1 and KDE 4.2.1 and I do see the option. Not sure what's wrong on your local installation. Sven -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org

I'm using kde 4.2.1 with a UK layout and I have the same (lack of) choice. In the Configure Desktop - Computer Administration - Keyboard and Mouse, the choices are as above: Mouse, Joystick, Standard Keyboard shortcuts, Global keyboard Shortcuts. -- John johnmking_uk@yahoo.co.uk -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org
