Does anyone know if it is possible to create a bootable cd using k3b. According to the man page of mkisofs one needs to specify -b eltorito_boot_image. Can this be done via k3b? -- Richard Bos Without a home the journey is endless

When you have a new data project open you find under Project->Edit Boot Images a diagolgue for adding boot images. With "new" you can browse your directories and add such an image. I have used it to add floppy boot images which I got from the partimage.org project (I think that floppy boot images are the el torito standard), but it also seems to accept disk images, but I can't help you there. Hi Kostas, this brings me at least a step further. although you can't help further you said, perhaps others may. Which files are required from the suse disks, to make a bootable cd: 06400480.spl 12801024.spl bootlogo isolinux.cfg message 08000600.spl 14001050.spl initrd linux 10240768.spl 16001200.spl isolinux.bin memtest Is it linux only, or should there be some helpers as well? -- Richard Bos Without a home the journey is endless
