Unwanted Application Starter Menu Items
For some reason KDE adds some recently started applications (some with very long names) to the top of my application starter menu. I find it somewhat annoying to have "stretched menus". Is there a way I can choose not to have my most recent visited applications to show up on the top of my application starter menu? Is there a way that I can delete the existing add ons? Yes, go into the KControl centre and go to the panel section then to menus. You set the number of apps to be displayed to 0 and next time you start KDE there will be no apps shown. :) * Richard Court (suse1@linuxmail.org) [020903 16:51]: ::For some reason KDE adds some recently started applications (some ::with very long names) to the top of my application starter menu. ::I find it somewhat annoying to have "stretched menus". You can also go into the Panel Settings and tell it not to display detailed menu entries. This way you can still keep your most recent apps at the top and still not have long menus. --- Ben Rosenberg <ben@whack.org> wrote:
