Hi Luis, Your talking about the changing the splash screen only, right? In kde2 It used to be in: /home/yourusername/.kde2/share/apps/ksplash/pics This might work for kde3 too. Haven't tried it yet. You'll probably have to substitute .kde2 with .kde. If the directories aren't there, just create them. note: If you do it this way, it only changes the splash screen for this user. System defaults stay as they are. cheers, Marcel
::/home/yourusername/.kde/share/apps/ksplash/pics Yes, this is where you want to put the new splash screen. The Liquid one is global..so you can put the Crystal start up in the above directory.
