All, I keep some fairly large folders (stuff like suse-linux-english) and some other lists), so that I can search more easily than resorting to list archives. In KMail, my preferred default display is by date, particularly "Date (Order of Arrival)" with the most recent at the top. When I switch to sorting on "Subject" or "Sender", there's a multi-second delay due to thousands of files being re-sorted. When I click the "Date" column header, it doesn't resume with my preferred sort order. Instead, I have to switch through the three other Date options before it gets to "Date (Order of Arrival)" with the most recent at the top. Each re-sort takes seconds. Over time, this adds up to a lot of waiting. I haven't found a setting/configuration for this. Is there one? /kevin
