[opensuse-kde] KDE4 NetworkManager
Hi, I've been trying to use the KDE4 NetworkManager plasmoid. I'm not sure if I'm using it correctly but when I see the list of possible wireless networks I click on the icon/name of the network. However it never connects :( So I've reverted to using knetworkmanager from KDE3 as this works. The strange this is that if I start NetworkManager after knetworkmanager makes a connection I can see that I'm connected to my network in the plasmoid, but once I disconnect I cannot connect using either knetworkmanager or the plasmoid. Anyone else have this problem, CPH -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org

I am using NetworkManager-kde4 together with KDE4.2 from the Build Service project KDE:KDE4:Factory on openSUSE 11.1. The current version for me is 0.7.svn922105-57.7. And it works. :) The connection I am using is a WPA2 protected wireless network. At first I have added a new wireless connection under "Manage Connections...". Since then it connects automatically at the start of KDE. The application started on click crashes if you have a revision < 922592, which I guess you have as I just updated it today. Greetings, Stephan -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org
