Moving KMail and GPG profiles to a new KDE environment
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi, Last times, I were using Linux Redhat versions in my laptop. Now, I've moved to SuSE 8.0, and my troubles begins when I decided to move my profile (mail, GPG keys and ring, etc.) to SuSE. First, I was using KDE 3.0.4 recompiled in Redhat from sources. So, as with SuSE came the same KDE version, I just tried to copy the Mail directory to my $HOME. Also copied the GnuPG data, and my konqueror and mail addresses. Everything seems to be working but kMail has now a weird behaviour. If I tried to open some e-mail saved previously in redhat, kMail only show a "Nobody" for sender, and "no subject", and the mail seems to have no content. With the new mails, everything works okay. Any idea? Delete the .index files from your Mail directory/boxes and restart kmail regards, Marcel
