Hello all, Does any one know when the Network Manager will no longer be an add-on and be integrated into the kde4 workspace? -- Cheers! How would that work for those who have no use for network management beyond initial ifup/ifdown configuration at installation time and taboo Network Manager and its recurring overhead? -- "The wise are known for their understanding, and pleasant words are persuasive." After checking the web, it appears that it will be part of the base package in Plasma Workspace 2. It will no longer be in a separate package. Cheers! Roman -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org

Hello, i would like to ask where did you find such information? And i guess you mean NM plasmoid and libs, not NetworkManager itself? The first seems unlikely imho, since already with 4.11 have some remaining

Yes. What I meant was the NM plasmoid. It was mentioned on Aaron Seigo's blog. -- Cheers! Roman -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org
