Hi, (sorry for writing in german first. i didn't realise that this is an english list) since my kde-update (to kdebase3-3.3.1-3) with kontakt (kdepim3-3.3.1-7 ) KMail doesn't show the structural view of my messages with the folding option etc. they're simply listed like any other mails... :( i checked already the settings. and i didn't change anything on my kmail-settings since it worked last time. the folder is still defined as a mailing-list-folder and in the layout settings of kmail "structered view" is also activated. Well done. :) This deserves a reply. ;)

I have this in my ~/.kde/share/config/kmailrc: [Reader] MessagePaneHeight=638 MimePaneHeight=100 MimeTreeLocation=top MimeTreeMode=smart RecycleQuoteColors=false attachment-strategy=smart defaultColors=true header-set-displayed=rich header-style=fancy showColorbar=true useFixedFont=false This seemed the appropriate part to me. Perhaps some fiddling with the items in this section gets you the "structural view" back... Note that I do not get that "structural view" with every mail. E.g. your mail (the mail I'm replying to) does not have that "structural view". So I hope you don't call "Wolf!" unless you see one! ;)) Cheers, Leen
