[opensuse-kde] Missing kde3 packages for factory
Hi, I've quickly scanned the previous thread about the subject of this message and didn't find a reason why the kde3 factory repo doesn't have any packages (also looked at the build service project and somebody has osc wipebinaries it and disabled publishing). I've just updated to factory and I have one very important (to me) package missing, ark. See : https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=218891 marked as a duplicate of : https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=162052 I need an ark that enables me to select an existing .tar.bz2 file as a new file and then add to it, kde4 ark doesn't allow this and looking at the bug it's not going to for a while. That's why I need kdeutils3 for factory. There's another missing tool that I use for fixing packages, kdevelop3. Kdevelop4 just doesn't shape up to kdevelop3 for importing existing projects and it's considerably different to kdevelop3 and will take time I don't have to learn. I've fixed kdesvn3's build and linked kdesvn3, kdevelop3 and kdeutils3 in my home:plater:kde3 project to build for factory. It's nice to see that most of kde3 has made it to 11.3 but it's a pity that the kde3 repo hasn't. Can I at least submit these packages to kde3community or maybe they need a maintainer, I volunteer for that.
