Taskbar Icons Gone
I have lost the application icons and the virtual desktop display on my taskbar. This is were I would expect to see the icon for Kinternet. Kinternet is running but because I don't have the icon I can't use the dialer, among other things. This only applys to myself as a user, not to the root account. Does anyone know how to effect a repair ? Thanks, Rod

In a single word (note that I am *not* anyone), no, but you *might* try restarting X. -- Patrick Shanahan Registered Linux User #207535 http://wahoo.no-ip.org @ http://counter.li.org HOG # US1244711 Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/gallery

Make sure the systray applet is running in your taskbar. Use the Panel Menu and add applet Andrew ------------------------------- Jabber: acolvin@jabber.org MSN: apc@abcj.demon.co.uk ICQ: 44775817
