Why was calligra-doc merged back into calligra, by the way? The reason the linked -doc package exists is that this allows building the documentation in parallel to the calligra binaries, speeding up KDF and Factory rebuilds. Unless this has changed, why drop the -doc package? Will

also, calligra-doc is now not a noarch package any more - although this is still possible (and desirable) in a single spec -> either split out again, or make this subpackage noarch... Hi Will, calligra-doc contains only the apps handbooks that take very little time to compile compared to the whole calligra package. So is there much gain to have it as a link? I consulted the archives and it seems the reasons for the split are outdated. In the past we wanted the doc package to be noarch (to save bandwidth) and it was not possible to have noarch subpackages of an arch main package before OBS came along. So recombining the packages was the right thing to do, thanks. Will -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org
