Suse 9.0 + KDE 3.2.3: First and second hierarchy of the KDE menu are seperated
HI! I have updated Suse 9.0 to KDE 3.2.3 with yast. Now the first and second hierarchy of the KDE menu are visibly seperated and there are no arrows in the first hierarchy items where there exist sub items. From the second hierarchy on, it's OK. This is a little hard to explain, so please look at this screenshot: http://www.boerkel.de/kdemenu.jpg Since this looks OK on the sample screenshots at kde.org, there must be something wrong with my system. Anyone any idea? Thanks! Thomas

Hello Thomas, it's the same for me. I 'm using SuSE-8.2-pro with kde-3.2.3. I don't remember the moment this "problem" appear! Franz
Control Panel Desktop Panels Menus tab either turn off side menu or switch on Name and description Should now be ok. You may need to run "dcop kicker kicker restart" in a shell. Andrew On Thursday 29 July 2004 08:22, Thomas Börkel wrote:

Thanks! Both settings work! Is this a known bug in 3.2.3? Thomas
