Please let us know whitch version of SuSE you are using. If it is the 9.3 is a bug. You should switch to KDE. I don't remember exactly how, but if you can wait I have the solution in my office. If anyone know how probably you solve the problem before monday. Your system has the "old" (but light) desktop manager (not KDE nor Gnome). Bye, Stefano John Meyer ha scritto:

Someone on SLE just had this problem. He somehow managed to apply updates to the stock 3.4 KDE but he'd upgraded to supplementary version 3.5. He had to reinstall kdelibs etc. for 3.5 You can run YaST in ncurses mode while logged in as root in run level 3. (command: "yast") What does YaST say about dependencies? - Carl
