Programm in bestimmter virtueller Arbeitsfläche starten

You can try to start the programm with the kstart-wrapper. The parameter --desktop is your freind :-)) Chris -- Christoph Dohmen ChDohmen@gmx.de
Hello everybody, sorry for not posting in english. This mail was supposed for KDE-DE list. But anyway: I'd like to start programs in a specific virtual desktop. e.g. I'd like kmail always to open in desktop 4, even if I start it in desktop 6. Is there a possibility? Some parameters/arguments I have to add to the programname when starting it? greetings Michael Eichstädt Am Mittwoch, 7. Januar 2004 13:37 schrieb Michael Eichstädt:

Have a look at kstart. It enables you to start a program on a particular desktop (among other things). Paul Abrahams

Try typing "kstart --help" to see how to use it. As far as I know there's no documentation beyond that, unfortunately. Paul Abrahams
