I apologize for not including the text in this. I'm using my web-mail and konqi is doing some strange things when I try to cut and paste into this dialog box. It would take forever to clean it up. You asked for error messages. I will happily oblige you. The only error message I can see is this, down in the bottom left-hand side of kmail's window along the border. Failed to send (some) queued messages. Actually it never sends any messages. I've even tried sending one to myself to rule out some error on the other side. I tried running kmail from the command line and didn't see anything useful. I'm downloading 3.3.1 and thinking about that, although I've seen a fair number of problems that people seem to be having, so I'm a touch hesitant. --andy
