[opensuse-kde] Akonadi will not start
I have not been able to run kmail since upgrading to KDE 4.11.4. Not sure but if this is right place to ask this. When I try starting kmail or other app' that uses Akonadi I get the following error: CODE ---------- Test 10: ERROR -------- Akonadi control process not registered at D-Bus. Details: The Akonadi control process is not registered at D-Bus which typically means it was not started or encountered a fatal error during startup. Test 11: ERROR -------- Akonadi server process not registered at D-Bus. Details: The Akonadi server process is not registered at D-Bus which typically means it was not started or encountered a fatal error during startup. ------------ if I try starting akonadi manually I Get: Code ---------- Start as Root: rpl7:~> sudo akonadictl start root's password: D-Bus session bus is not available! Where is the lock stored?
Any other Ideas? See signature
Thanks
Additional comment. This problem appears to be in Akonadi area. Accessing the database from command line works fine, no errors, complete access. -- openSUSE 12.3(Linux 3.11.1-3.gfeffbf9-desktop x86_64| Intel(R) Quad Core(TM) i5-4440 CPU @ 3.10GHz|8GB DDR3| GeForce 8400GS (NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-331.20)|KDE 4.11.4 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org
