I am still having problems with File Manager Super User in 3.1. If I set /tmp/mcop-dbtrol to owned by root this works fine but on booting I get an error from arts that there is a sound server fatal error because /tmp/mcop-dbtrol is not owned by user. --------------------------------- David, After deleting both /tmp/mcop-dbtrol and /tmp/mcop-root, start Konq up as super user and go to View>Preview to turn off any file previews that are marked. At that point I think you will find it works ok for both user and root. It does appear to be a bug as several folks have complained of the same thing, but doing the above worked well for me.
