I just had a "Software Update" pop up with 95 updates which i accepted and i went back to browsing. After a few minutes, all the open programs (chromium and kontact) suddenly shutdown and i was logged out. It even skipped running my backup script that is supposed to run on logout.

I didn't seem to do any damage but it was an unwelcome process.

Any ideas?

Have seen the same today, hopefully, zypper up was running in screen :-)

I've been able to check (you can confirm it broke at the same package with /var/log/zypper.log) Nothing in zypper.log as it was "Software Update" widget that was running and i'm not sure where its log is found.

But I've no clue about why it broke the plasma5 session and whole xorg
