You probably don't really want everyone on the list to send you such a confirmation, do you? Unless you really do, you should be careful not to include such a request in your list postings.

you are right i have no intention of getting return receipt from all my evolution crashed since last update this morning and is of no use anymore and my thunderbird is configured for all important mail .. and had return request configured by default i will remember it for the future thanks for the reminder hans
