Re: [suse-kde] KOffice-1.2.1
Using SuSE 8.0 with KDE3.0.5 and just upgraded KOffice using the rpm from KDE and run /sbin/SuSEconfig. However now none of the progs run and when run from console most show the same = relocation error : /opt/kde/lib/libkofficecore.so.2: undefined symbol static_QUType_varptr. Updated libart_lgpl to 2.3.10-92 but that hasnt helped. Still a relative newbie so help or directions would be much appreciated Jim MacLeod

The Qt version you're running is older than the version koffice has been built for.
Updated libart_lgpl to 2.3.10-92 but that hasnt helped.
That can't help as the problem is not related to libart. Ralf

Jim, You should have gotten some errors when trying to install the latest KOffice from SuSE's site as it was built against all the new KDE 3.1.1 stuff. If you used "force" to install it though, you have your answer. Install the rest of the 3.1.1 files and you should probably be ok.
