# rpm -q --whatprovides /usr/share/kde4/apps/kdm/faces/root.face.icon file /usr/share/kde4/apps/kdm/faces/root.face.icon is not owned by any package YaST2 says the same thing. So, where did /usr/share/kde4/apps/kdm/faces/root.face.icon come from? *I* didn't put it there. -- "The wise are known for their understanding, and pleasant words are persuasive." The reason this came up follows from in 12.3 replacing kdm-branding-openSUSE with kdm-branding-upstream and setting UseTheme=false in kdmrc. The KDM login window is icon-free, which I was trying to figure out how to fix without manually copying those icons from elsewhere. /usr/share/kde4/apps/kdm/faces/ was empty. I did some updates, then did 'zypper -v in -f kdm kdebase4-workspace libXaw7' and now they are there. :-p -- "The wise are known for their understanding, and pleasant words are persuasive." Mine appeared after subscribing to mygravatar page. Once created it appeared. Perhaps it auto-saved to my /home/USERNAME/ directory? Cheers!
